Voiding a violation makes it inactive and removes the ability for customers or administrators to apply payment, or preform collection actions.  The violation will also not appear in the patroller application as an unpaid violation.  While voided violations will still appear in reports, the violation will be identified as a voided transaction.



To Void a violation



Search for and select the violation. Once searched and the violations have opened up, click Void from the Actions drop-down on the selected violations.




Confirm the Action.



Enter a reason for the void.

Void violations will appear with a checkbox in each Violation's Action Indicator field

Undo Void for a Violation

Search for and select the violation





Click Undo Void in the Actions Drop Down





Confirm the Action.



Enter a reason for the void removal.
